What is self confidence & stepd into building them dealing with track & field

Track and field is a great feeling and a good thing to experience. Self-confidence is something that we should always build into our selves no matter what the situation is. Self-confidence is basically a feeling of trust in one’s (meaning you and no one else) abilities, qualities, and judgment. It can also be labeled as an attitude which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic  views of themselves and their situations.  Self-confident can be labeled as the same as well because it is an trust in their own abilities, have a general sense of control in their lives, and believes that, within reason, they will be able to do what they wish, plan and expect.

While running track & field you should always have some type of confidence. you can start the confidence process by talking to yourself. “Self -talk,” psychosis’s call it. I’m sure we all have did it plenty of times before already. By using self-talk dealing with track and field you can easily say what you want and believe in everything because it’s true  and your performance will be well given well from the talk that was given from yourself. Not only that take notes from others as far as family, friends and coach’s and anybody else giving a good talk dealing with what you should do and what you are doing good on. By doing good on running track and field just stay on top it and never talk down on no one no matter what the situation is at all.

Trusting your peers and building self confidence while dealing with track is the best thing that could happen.  An I say that because you began to trust people and mainly yourself and do whatever that you want or believe in by just going for what you know. By trusting others you can also overcome aloot of dreams and achivements in life. Just always go for what you know and learned and always practice and relax.  Just when you are in the mode dealing with running just relax your mind and stay focus and i promise you everything will be okay and you make it outta the race with happiness and completion dealing with the race. Belief is a form of trust . To trust in others is to give up some “control.” Many of us like to feel totally “in control”. But just remember never try too control everthing. An i say that because trying too achieve or control any and everything all in one is like tryna to achieve a million goals in a race.

Running track is an great experience and something that is an accoplishment and something to remember.  Track and field is an beautiful site and takes pratices outta your day and time. While practing track and field there are alot of steps too follow and complete, track comes with alot. Remember to never eat or drink more then enough of food and drinks.  Drink plenty of water and engery drinks but no junk food. Always remember thoughtout morning races, always eat something but an slight meal just to start you off with an good day. An example of an good breakfest meal toast, or bagel with soem peanut butter on it and that would be good breakfest.  An be sure to drink 8-10oz of water with breakfest 2-3 hours before race time.

Remeber always to try to avoid or sugary drinks on days when you have races because it will not help your performance. Waters works best. Even gatorade should be diltutued with water . Just stay focus throughtout a meet and always remember what you were taught and know. In go for what best fits you and you and your running at the time of the meet but never give up.

Giving up is like giving up everything that you ever learned and was taught to you. Not only that it’ll be like you wasteed your time with all the practing , small talk and learning everything all in together . Giving up is the worsom thing anyone can do dealing with any sistaution as well. Because it’s like you worked for all you know but then again you throwing it all away in the trash which is not a good thing at all. While running track and field just do what you can and psuh yourself but never as much that you can’t take it or wanna give up. Just always remember where you came from and how far along you have come along.  Running is an good thing to learn and know …..

TRACK AND FIELD IS THE BEST AND I SAY THAT BECAUSE THADS ALL I HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE THE AGE OF 10 AND I ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. TRACK IS ALSO AN GOOD TOPIC AND THINGN TO JUST TO GO OUT AND HAVE FUN IN ….

Running cross country requiremnets and technqiues

In order to run cross country there are plenty of skills and techniques that are to be done and taught if you do not know them. Running across country is an total different thing then running in an regular track meet, I say that  because it is more running to be done and less stopping when running across country. While practicing cross country and getting ready for an particular  meet you must practice and practice to be prepared to run for as long as you are told sometimes it be 30 to an 1 hour. Another thing cross country isn’t something you can just up and do it is something that you must have been doing for a little while meaning years.

Cross country running is an sport in which teams and individuals run in an race on open air courses over natural terrain. The course is typically 4-12 kilometers and in miles that will be 2.5-7.5. Sometimes that is including the surfaces of grass, and the earth, pass through woodlands and open country. It is both an individual and a team sport, runners are judged on individual times and teams by a points-scoring method. Both men and women of all ages compete in cross country, which usually takes places during autumn and winter, and can include weather conditions of rain, sleet, hail or even snow that still require whoever that is competing that day no matter what. Cross country running is one of the umbrella sport of athletics and is a natural terrain version of long distance track and road running. Although open-air running competitions are pre-historic, the rules and traditions of cross country racing emerged in Britain. The English championship which became the first national competition in 1876 and the International Cross Country Championship was held for the first time in 1930. And Until 1973 the foremost elite competition has been the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.

Cross country is sometimes a hard sport to tackle but it’s extremely rewarding because you feel like you have really achieved something incredible after completing a run. Cross country running can also take place over grass, mud, dirt trails, rocky areas and water also well as hills. Almost and most of the times it is taken off road. Although if can feel punishing at times because you are running for so long, in the end, the physical results and the friendships built by common suffering are definitely worth the training and far outweigh the pain involved. Here are a few tips to get you stared in running in country cross. I can tip in 10 ways on how to run cross country track and field and things to do throughout home and practice.

The 1st thing you should always do is reflect on why you’d like to get involved in cross country running.  Cross country running has both mental and physical benefits, after being cross country runner you’re likely to be more robust and versatile, able to run in all weather types and across all terrain types. Running cross country doesn’t only improve speed but it is focused on endurance and not only speed. Always prepare your gear , the beauty of all types of running is the low level of equipment needed and cross country running is no different. You’ll need shorts or running pants, shirt, a layer or two if you’re headed somewhere high a drinking bottle or bladder for water and some running shoes. Next you should always think safety fitness, remember before you begin training I cross country be sure to revisit the basics on staying flexible and well stretched. Don’t forget to warm up before heading out, and to warm down after running.

Also eat for the best performance, your fitness as a country runner also depends on what you’re eating. Be sure to eat healthy foods and to provide your body with the high energy input that needs for running. Along with that start training , when you begin it is always an good idea to start slowly and build your strength , stamina and enthusiasm for the sport as you go along. Always remember to set goals because once you have tailed the terrain for a bit and become used to running on all sorts of different surfaces, focus on little goals and big goals to help build up your resilience and endurance.

Always remember to prepare for racing , once you have done training and feel that you’re ready to begin racing, look around for suitable races to enter. While participating in races you will preparation and you’ve ready to prove something too your self . Keep in mind that events may go on and on so never give up and remember you are running because it motives you and help you clear your mind and stay fit . Refreshing your motivation will be times when you hit a brick wall during training and when it’ll be important to take stock and reflect over why you’re training. While practicing always remember to choose an beautiful site so it’ll almost feel as real and also comfortable with cross country running.

Coaching Track & Field

Coaching track & field comes with learning, teaching and much more. Track and field teaching including a lot of learning along with practicing.  dealing with school and learning the techniques in becoming an track & field coach. You would have to take up something called “Coaching Education”. Coaching education is an program that provides educational opportunities for all levels of coaches, from grass roots to  the elite level of track & field.  This particular program is comprised of three progression levels, each of which has different components. And I will tell and give the difference from each one of the three progression which are called sport science, technical, event- specific instruction and hands-on training.

Sport science is the first one which extensive instruction in sport science is covered in the order to provide a scientific basis of understanding for rational development of techniques and training programs. The sport science portion has been developed by the American Coaching Effectiveness Program and for short called “ACEP” and the USATF national coaching education committee. It includes sport psychology, pedagogy, and sports medicine.

Something else that is needed too be taught too anyone that is willing to teach track and field must also get introduction too the technique’s and basic events of track and field. Which are throws, jumps, sprints/ hurdles and endurance events are all covered at the basic level in this school. Event specific instruction is progressive in nature. Consequently, at Levels 2 and 3 each event is covered in greater depth and detail than the previous level. Are these techniques are required too be taught and learned first because it is the basic in track and field and is also what everyone must do and know when first coming to track and field . And I say that because these are the basic in track and field and other events as far as cross country and more takes much practice and time from that special somebody on the team. But not only that cross country isn’t required for everybody but for the one who have the power, speed and motivation to push there self to get where they suppose too.

Hands on training is an experience should be taught by the best teacher. Minimum standards of practical experience are expected of participants at each level. It is hands on training is taught for those who need help out there although they may still know what they are out there doing but at the end of the day no one is perfect and everyone makes mistake. And with that being said no one should judge anyone and should also be supportive of us all out there trying. Also remember when you talk down on someone you are speaking on yourself at the same time because at the end of the day everyone is together and is a team, along with that there is no I in team.

Now when it comes too teaching basic track and field skills. All athletes may think their legs are the most important part of their body for running. Although when anyone move their own body moves together and all in one. Instruct runners to pump their arms, and remind them that when the right leg is forward, the left arm should be forward and the right arm should be back. An always remember too lead forward and lift you knees before take off it will help the knees feel natural like its suppose to. It is also important for athletes to turn into these motions and emphasize them for extra speed. Hurdlers should follow the natural motion of their bodies too. To clear hurdlers, must know to lead with the knees and reach towards the toes of the lead leg with the opposite arm. Tell hurdles to lean forward slightly and keep their eyes focused on the next hurdle.

Relay races are something kind of differences but easy as well. Relay you will always need practice and confidence to get by with your race . Along with relay races it is good too have an sheet too take note on what and what not to do. Along with that videos are helpful as well and I say that because a couple times in middle, high school my coaches has done that for other and myself. The videos help you see where you went wrong and also where you can do better and fix your mistakes all in way. I promise it is helpful and a lot of people love to become and track and field coach or director because its different, fun and money is made out of it but all in one it is helpful and an good experience to have or complete .

What is the distance around a running track for each lane?

The distance around an outdoor running track is very different from an inside running track. Today running track vary in length from less than 100 yards to greater than 400 meters. Over the course of time mankind has chosen to run because it is fun, to deliver something or to obtain a health benefit . Along with that it would be convenient to run on an track and as far dealing with how fast you are or how big the track may be. The 1913 the International Amateur Athletic Federation was formed by representatives from 16 countries and has established standards for spotting events including the distance around a running track.

Along with this back in time there were an earliest recorded olympics competitors ran races including a one-strafe sprint, a two-stare race and a long distance run which ranged from 7 to 24 stars. An stare was just an length of the stadium in Olympia. Running was the best sport back in time and now here today and i say that because it an help others and myself in may ways. As far as getting myself together with shape and just building my cardio muscles and etc.In the year of 1896, the first modern Olympic games were held outside Greece where competitors ran races of 100 meters and up.

All tracks are modern designed by an certain way and people but are made to be in comp liane with guidelines established by the IAAF. In those guidelines the measuring line, which is about 2o to 30 centimeters tom the inside of the track, measures 400 meters. There are several variations on how curves and straightway are arranged with some designs having two equal curves and two equal straight ays that are 84.4 meters in length while other designs have straightways up 100 meters in length.

The distance around each lane is accounted too be different in vary ways. Since the distance around the track in lane one, the inside lane, is 400 meters the distance around the track for the other lanes can be calculated by knowing the lane width and a few other measurements. There is also an formula , L= 2S + 2pi(R+ (n-1)w) can be used to calculate the distances around  the track for the various lanes. In his formula L equals the lane distance, S equals the length of the straightway, R is the radius of the turn , n is the lane number and w is for the width of the lanes. All of these formulas  are useful and can be used when trying to examine an track for distance of width at any given time. The IAAF has standardized track lane widths at 1.22 meters the above formula calculates the distance around the track in lane 2 as 407.67 meters, lane 3 as 415.33 meters, lane 4 as 423 meters, lane 5 as 430.66 meters , lane 6 as 433.38 meters, lane 7as 446 meters and lane 8 as 453.66 meters.

There are ways that the tracks that we run track meets on can be calculated throughout each lane on the track in which we run in to practice or complete an race. the distance around an track varies from the lane to lane because the turns in the radius in which we run increases in gets wider as you go further around the rim of each lane located in the  track. To know the distance around each track and lane is the most important thing to know and remember at all times. As well as for races such as the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash. There is a must that you know the distance for each lane and that you need to know the straightway distance in the turn radius as well with the width of the lane that you are focusing on at the time. The all are different because each lane and track and made completely different. Some of much largest then other and that makes the lanes wider from the smaller ones.

The lanes are also set up and bent counter clock wise. The lanes are bent so that you have some type of take off and direction to run in that goes around and not straight. Running straight can be a problem to most and may feel funny. An I say it may feel funny because it like you are just running straight with no where to go lo. But running counter clock wise may be a tab bit different because it like you are running but it s a must you bend the corners or the ground or into someone’s lanes you may go. And we all know that’s not a good feeling nor good site at all nor for anyone.

Indoor Track and field

Indoor track and field does just about the same thing as originally track and filed and plays the same exact events and time limits dealing with the event that being played at the time. Track and field events are divided into three broad of categories: which are track events, and combined events. the majority of athletes tend to specialize in just one event within the aim of perfecting their performances which and within one another.  Track and field events all involve some type of running on the track over a specified distances and sometimes time limit. There are also relay races in which teams of athletes run and pass on a baton to their team member and at the end of certain distance run the last person takes it to the finish line. That particular race always allows four members from each team to  run an certain amount of distance and too pass the Baton as fast as they can so that the next person can lead it on as soon as possible.

All in one there are two types of field events in indoor track and they are jumps , and throws. in jumping competitions, athletes are judged on either the length or the height of their jumps. The performance of jumping events for distance are measured from a board or marker, and any athlete overstepping this mark is judged to have fouled. In the jumps for height, an athlete must clear his or her body over a crossbar without knocking the bar off the supporting standards. The majority of jumping events are unaided, although athletes propel themselves vertically with purpose built sticks in the pole vault. The throwing events involve hurling an implement from an particular set of view , while the athletes are being judged on their distance well running and competing with another member from another team.

Indoor track is not just like outdoor track and field because you are under an bubble or an roof. Not only are the track and field events different but the ones that are different from one another those are contested outdoors, but these differences make indoor track attractive and field athletes for a number of reasons. One differences between them is that indoor track in the inside is much different from the one on the outside. The most obvious differences between them are the size of them both, one is much largest then the other one. It is shorter indoor because its just an standard indoor track which is only 200 meters around, or exactly half of an size of an standard outdoor track but unlike outdoor tracks, indoor tracks vary in length depending on the floor space available.

The smallest indoor track in the untied states is located in Madison square garden which is the indoor National championships and to the Millrose Games, the oldest invitational indoor track and field meet in America is only 160 yards around. The newest ones around are venues which are an large enough to accommodate oversized indoor track as long as 300 meter. There is an standard indoor track is 200 meters around, or exactly half the size of a standard outdoor track, but unlike outdoor tracks vary in length depending on the floor space available. Many tracks are smaller then one another. The newer venues are large enough to accommodate oversized indoor tracks as long as 300 meters.

Indoor track also has lesser lanes open then the originally outdoor, because it is lesser people on the team dealing with indoor track. Fewer running lanes open and the of lanes that are opened are 6 as total instead of 8 / 9 lanes typical lanes as outdoor. There are differences between indoor and outdoor track is that the better indoor tracks will have banked turns. They are bowl shaped rather than flat on the turns. In the same way that you car would slide to the outside going around corners when you drive if you didn’t slow down as you begin you turn, athletes going at high speeds would experience the  same thing. On flat indoor track with tight turns they either must slow down to negotiate the turns, or be pulled outwards. The banks  help the athletes cope with these centrifugal forces so that they can maintain their speed on the turns.

Due to the smaller track and limited area for field events, the events contested indoors are different from those contested at an outdoor track and field meet.  By reviewing this you can see that indoor and outdoor track and field is exactly the same in many ways just different location or setting dealing with the event or the type of sprinting going on at the time.

outdoor
Fewer lanes opened and lesser people !!

Ruuning 50m dash …..

Running the 50 meter dash and an exciting feeling and a wonderful event. 50 meters is basically an sprint event in track and field. It is relatively uncommon non-championship event that is used for indoor track and field. Normally dominated by the best outdoor 100 meters runners. At outdoor athletics competitions it is an distance, at least for senior athletes.  This particular race is also for fast people and is made to use an light sliver medal bar that is passed around and split on between 4 people. When running this race you will receive an break , I say that because everyone runs an short distance and passing the bar leading their partner on.

There are ways that you can improve your running skills dealing with this particular event. In that is to keep practicing over and over again as well as recording your time so that as practices and meets go by you can see your improvement in your meets and time. Be sure to warm up before you sprint, preforming a light five to 10 minute jog in your ordinary running shoes followed by stretching. Change into your track flats or track spikes whatever one best suits you for the time trails, races and sprint workout. As be sure to have an starting person and ending person to help you practice as well as an coach and someone with an firing leading pistol or an voice command as well as time you with an stopwatch. It is also good to have an second coach or just somewhere there to record you so that once practice is done you are able to se your mistakes and improvements.

A good way to remain focus and only focus is too study the field that  you run on and never listen too the foolish.  Always remember to continue driving with your arms. Push off the balls of the feet, keep your elbows bent at a 90 degree angles as they “slice” through the air, and keep your facial muscles relaxed. Allow your body to reach a full vertical stance when you are about 25 or 30 yards into the dash. Then by that point your velocity will have reached 90 percent of its maximum. Once all this is completed through a race your race shall be successful and you should have meet an good standard time. When driving to finish, keeping your eyes focused on the finish line is good too do and not  on who is directly behind you or how close someone may be up on you. Also when almost at the finish line remember to lean forward slightly in the final two or three strides. Your coach or partner could record the time for you to let you know how you have done. Not only that but remember that you must lean towards the finish line but it can allow you allow win faster. In I say that because all you have to do is have part of your near and over the finish line and you have won the race. Although I know it may sound crazy but I have witnessed it with my own eyes and was like what I was right here lol. But seriously it just a fun and silly feeling once its all done.

Running this race is all fun in games with teammates , other team going against one another and mainly seeing which team has the fastest 4 people on there team. It has always  been 4 team out on the field and at least 4 fast runners prepared for the race competing against one another. Striving for the finish lines and trying to see who will make it first to the finish line throughout all four team mates. Everyone out of the four team members going against each at the time will start at one line on the track and before the race is completely over everyone out of the 4 will be in a different location and the other one will be running over that line, taking one for the team. It’s all about having good people who actually cares and won’t think about giving up even if they far behind. As long as you tried is all that matters, doing what best for your team and yourself. We all win some and lose some, from that all you can do is practice better. And I promise you will see a change and so will others. Track is all about having fun and enjoying yourself all a game for friends and sometimes any family. At the end of the day it is all business and an game ! ENJOYYYYYYYYYY……..!!!!!! AFTER ALL

How it feels to take the lead in the last 50m:
OOPSS GOTTA GET GOING !

The feeling you get before the gun is fired at the race ….

A starting pistol or a starter pistol is a handgun, basically a typically a specially designed revolver. It is used so that once it is fires to start the track and field races, as well as competitive swimming races at some meets. And the sound of the gun going off serves as the signal for the athletes to begin an event. Running track is the best feeling ever it allows us too relieve stress and build our confidence out there on the track.  Track and field is a beautiful site and it sets up sharp, well preparing or dealing with any time of race. The shocking part about it is the gun that is used before any race has or is about too began. The gun is used that so everyone out there is able too hear when the race is about to began. It is a painful and loud sound that may get to jump but its all worth it at the end. The gun loud also allows and tell any and everyone when to began running. And is you didn’t know , believe it or not track and field is not the only sport that uses a gun to began an race or meet.

The gun is well prepared and used and no one will get hurt by it all it. Blank shells or caps are used to prevent injury and thus usually a cloud of smoke that appears in the air. Starting pistols may be modified versions of standard pistols incapable offering bullets, most commonly achieved by welding an obstruction into the barrel. When electronic timing is used, a sensors often affixed to the gun. Which sends an electronic signal to the timing system upon firing. For deaf competition or for modern electronic systems, and light may appear instead of sound and gun smoke , that is because they are not able to hear anything at all.

Sometimes there is an issue with dealing and using an starting pistol and I say that because some people get nervous and some are just not feeling the nosey at all. Another issue with the gun Is since the report of the pistol is carried to the competitors at the speed of sound. Which takes about 3 milliseconds to travel one meter, positions nearest the starter hear the report a few seconds before the runners that are lead behind him or her.

There is also an silent pistol that was once used in 2012 games that is connected to speakers behind each athlete competing in a heat ensuring all athletes to hear the pistol simultaneously. Dealing with the silent gun pistol throughout the Olympics everyone knows that every second-or hundred of a second counts due to lag in sound traveling time, runners in the farthest lane have an disadvantage from the beginning of their athletic challenge. The gun gives runners in the closer lanes and distant leg up. Leg up meaning they kind of hears it first and its a possibility that they may be in the lead.  But depending on how fast or focused they are  that’s if they will remain In lead. Track runners are based upon building, learning and staying focused at all times thought out practice, meets and more. This year one time dealing with track Olympics committee is suing an electronic gun that makes no noise at all but is instead weird to speakers directly behind each runner, ensuring all runners hear the starting mark , in order to began the race.

Staying focus is important and comes along good in the long run for you and your teammates. You can take the focus off those elements of the race you can not control , your finishing time, your opponents, the weather. But it will direct them to the outcomes you can control. Visualization is something that is totally different but important as well here today. Visualization yourself executing your race plan, going through your warm-up routine, and even focusing on your breathing. By directly your thoughts to those who are physical and mental aspects you can control. The nervous will dissipate and you will increase your chances of success.

Visualizing during the race, you will visualize is racing is tough, there’s no two ways about it. At  some point on your way to a great race or a new PR you’re going to hurt and you’re going to have self doubts. Letting negative thoughts creep into your mind is one of the easiest. Track and field is an exciting event and chilled one at that.

What would you prefer to drink & eat while dealing with track ?

Throughout track and field there are certain type of drinks that you are supposed to drink to stay fit but not only that. But there certain kinds as well so that  you will not catch an cramp throughout practice or even an event. There is an total of 3 different types of sports drinks, that all contain various levels of fluids, carbohydrates and electrolytes. The three types are isotonic, hypotonic and hypertonic each one of these has fluids and an certain number of carbohydrates inside of them. Hypertonic has the highest level out of them all and hypotonic has the lowest and last but not least Isotonic has 6 to 8% carbohydrate.

Well dealing with track and field you are able to drink water but that would not be the best thing to do over all. Water can cause different type of issues to your body which dealing or doing your meet of track and field. Water can cause bloating which eventually will suppress thirst and also well as drinking.  Water also does not contain any type of carbohydrates or electrolytes at all. And these type of fluids are well needed throughout your time of playing, running and as well as practice.  So it is okay to drink water but that would not be in the best interest because at the end of the day or  even throughout an meet it can and will cause cramping and bloating. And that is not an good site nor feeling because it hurts your body and can go on for a little while. And with that being said I would stay away from the water unless you are taking a light day at work or an event. But running and to much water doe not mix at all , just remember.

Sports drink are basically beverages that are stated purpose and to help athletes replace water , electrolytes  as well as some type of energy after training or even competition. And be sure to exercise before any and every practice or meet even if you are not dealing with an event on that specific day.  Because if you do not it will hurt you at the end of the day or even later that day/ night . And I say that because it is something that your body is use to and exercising is important based off that.

There are plenty of ways to eating smartly dealing and through any situations .  But we are talking about track ways so I will name a couple things that should not occur while eating or about to . . . .

1.) Don’t skip an meal.

2.)Eat snacks as long as they are healthy ones.

3.)Please eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.

4.)Be sure to eat or drink something within 30 minutes after practice, workout or meet .

5.)Try to avoid any sugars , oils and fats in flour.

7.)No fried food , lets try some baked.

8.)Drink up to 8 glasses of water a day, better your self and body daily.

9.)Use an sufficient of proteins for your daily activities.

10.)Last but not least never skip the most important meal of the day breakfast.

While dealing with certain types of foods and drinks you will have to watch out and do what is best for your body . So that you are not unfit and unable to complete whatever that it is that you are suppose to the next day or through out the meet. Eating good is not only for track runners but to the public and everyone else as well. Eating food good will provide us all with a number of benefits , better practices secessions. Also quick recovery, from any last practice or meet. It will basically increase the body’s ability from preventing any type of injuries. And at the end of it all you and any other that have did the correct thing and way or eating and drinking throughout track will feel better as well preform better throughout the event or time that you must complete your event.

Track and field takes a lot of practices and hard work to build your confidences in running and becoming the most intelligent, creative person to go as hard as you do or have done to win your race. Although winning is not what it is all about but mainly as long as you tried and did what you had to do to get by. And just remember if you lose it is okay because there is always another time and you will just have to practice longer & harder to become and go where you want to life. Track and field is all about fun!!

How to better yourself in track and field. . .

Track and field is an important sport to show off and enjoy.  Track and field is based upon friendship, teamwork and basically having fun all in one. It is an sport that is played any and every where, ” it’s the type of sport to bring that city out.” And I say that little quote meaning it is live, fun and an excited sport to participate in all in one.  Track and field is also used by people who just want to have fun and better their track experiences.  Track takes a whole lot of practice and hard work ship. First, I’m going to talk about what track is all about and basic things to do while dealing with track and needed as well. While practicing  in track and field you will need a specific type of shoes dealing with the event that you are dealing with at the time. The most important thing to know and remember is that there are two basic type of shoes that exist and they are running shoes and track shoes or competition shoes , each has its own purpose and design for an event.  You will end picking your type of track shoes based off what event you attend and participate in throughout your time as doing track and field . There are some shoes called motion-control shoes and they are used for those who over pronate moderately or severely. These type of shoes give you the maximum rear foot control and extra support that is needed at any given time. These shoes are also mainly for heavier weight people and those who have low arches , they are benefited for best performances  and more quality. The other shoes are called cushioned shoes and they are used for lighter weighted people and minimal arch support . If I was you I wouldn’t command these type of shoes if you are over pronate. You would be wasting your money and time but at the end of practice and meets and more you will probably be hurting. Well at least your feet and cabins muscles running benefits it all dealing within the upper body. Performance training shoes are for those who compete the most and train as well.  Also for those who mainly know how to hold there balance and that are suitable for racing, speed work or daily training. Mid- distance runners will use these shoes on speed workout days. Racing shoes are meant for competition and usually an light weight but mainly fast shoe reserved. These shoes are for competition and practice and having fun but mainly staying focus. Its best to know what type of shoes you will need but based on the type of event you are in and practicing before the meet. But always be prepared and have the right shoes and mind of set going so that you capable to win and do your best even if you don’t.  Its  not always about winning but as long as you did what you could and tried your hardest. Dealing with track and field it is not an place where you win or lose . But it is an place in where you are classified in and that determines whether or not if you and you fellow team mates will make it to the next met. When you labeled as first place second or even third you are most likely to see and met new and better team that are about the same as you or even better. Track and field also has an special event that is called pen replays and it is important and only made for an selected few. The selected few is only a counted from the coach and the best of the best and I believe it is only 12 out of about 25 to 28. The 12 people that are a counted for to make it to pen relays are hard workers and motivated and is labeled as an go getter. And I say, ” A go getter” because they work hard to get where they are today and make to the best or the best. And also dealing with pen relays you will have to travel to another state and meet new  people and also people that you do not know from another state. Which Is also a good thing as well because it prepare you for later in life and also to strive better and work as hard as possible. Just remember to always keep your head up and do your best in any competition , race and practice. Practices makes perfect !!
